During my summer 2022, I had the opportunity to experience being an au pair in a small town near Granada in Spain. I lived with Mabel and Raphael's family, with their 3 little girls. The oldest is Africa, she is 11 years old, the second is Espéranza who is 9 years old and Caroloina is the last one who is 6 years old. So we lived in an apartment in the city center in Baza, with a 2-year-old dog: Coco. This experience was very rich, it allowed me to build strong bonds with the families and especially with the girls, as well as to immerse myself in the culture, and to travel to the south of Spain during my days of rest. I had the opportunity to make Spanish friends who came from the same city as me but also to meet people during my weekend trips. I loved being able to work while having fun and spending time with the girls. Having left with no basis in Spanish, these 3 and a half months allowed me to learn the language which is actually a very beautiful language. The au pair experience was an extraordinary experience and one that I recommend to everyone with the aim of enriching themselves personally, discovering a new culture, building strong bonds with the family and traveling throughout the world. country. Finally, I would also like to thank the site au pair.com, which allowed me to have this experience without having to pay an agency. The site is very easy to use and accessible to everyone, it's great!
